Hey, as summer officially sneaks up on us this weekend, we thought it was an opportune time to inform you that, well, summer is hot. Actually, it’s a reminder that, when it comes to selecting a shipping option for your oh-so-valuable order, those in the states who might normally opt for USPS Media Mail might want to consider upgrading to Priority. Yep, we understand MM is cost effective and we know our packing is so good (insert props to Maryanne here) that, despite the length of the journey, your order is ensured to arrive on your doorstep in excellent shape (insert notation of rare exceptions here). However, back to the hot thing. We’re in Sacramento, CA and we’ll be “enjoying” 105 degree days before we care to and we’re guessing that the coming months will bring additional degrees to your neighborhood as well. So, rather than risk your vinyl to the perils of the sun’s rays or marauding polar bears that have been displaced from the polar ice cap due to global warming, it might just be worth the extra dollars to assure getting your order in two to three days rather than two to three weeks. No pressure, but just a random thought (as I don’t really do calculated thoughts). Honestly, I don’t think this is really all that applicable to our international customers, as, seriously, we can get a First-Class package delivered halfway around the world before our postal service can get a media mail order across the country. Cheers.
