Scratch & Dent Sale

Okay, maybe scratch isn’t exactly a good choice of words in regards to vinyl – Crease & Dent sale anyone? Going back to my post a few weeks back in which I moaned about the difficulty of obtaining new release vinyl free of dents, dings, etc., we received a shipment that, from all appearances, was bounced around a bit by our friends at UPS. And before we could file a claim, the box said order was shipped in disappeared, and along with it, any help from UPS. No box, no, ummm, nothing.

So, as a result, we have a handful of really swell new releases from folks like Beck (loving this record, btw), John Hiatt and Willie Nelson & Wynton Marsalis (a beautiful live recording taken from a two-night stand at Jazz At Lincoln Center) on sale at some steeply discounted prices. In addition, recent 180gm issues of classic titles like the self-titled album from Rickie Lee Jones, ZZ Top’s Fandango and U2′s Boy and War are also available at deep reductions. All are sealed, but all have various bumps and bruises. We simply want to move ‘em through the system, so much of the pricing hovers around wholesale. Come and get ‘em. Please?
