My Latest Buying Trip-Tons Of Goodies

I’ve just returned from another buying trip to southern California with yet another great haul of records. We are now plowing our way through and uploading to the site such factory sealed gems as: Exile On Main Street 2LP original in the unipac jacket, Bill Berry’s For Duke, some great sealed MoFi titles such as the double Chicago Transit Authority, Abbey Road, Blind Faith, Slowhand, Meddle, Lucille, Bluesbreakers, Atom Heart Mother, Dark Side Of The Moon And More.

Back In February we found a swath of new, unplayed Japanese pressing of excellent jazz titles and on this trip I unearthed another 400+ titles, which are currently awaiting upload. Some of these jazz records are virtually impossible to find on original pressings and when you do they are invariably noisy to some degree.

It may be time to re-evaluate Japanese pressings as they are often all analogue and are 99.9% perfectly flat and with zero surface noise: something not one of the current reissue labels have been able to consistently achieve. O.K. I’m off the soap-box now. I prefer enjoying a record for what it is rather than comparing pressings (not that I haven’t done my fair share of shoot-outs over the years).

Back to what we have either on site or soon to go up: a lot of Madonna, Mariah Carey And Kylie Minogue titles plus sealed copies of Pearl Jam’s No Code, Nirvana’s Incesticide, Dire Straits On Every Street, the deadly rare Los Lobos Kiko and many more. Upcoming, we have a juicy serving of Brubeck 6 eye stereos in perfect shape and for those of you who have a taste for obscure classical repertoire, we have around 50 or more sealed copies of different Composer’s Recordings Inc. titles. Still to type and upload are sealed copies of the original Sticky Fingers with zipper cover, sealed Blood Sweat & Tears, a sealed original Tommy, Tupelo Honey plus our usual assortment of esoteric titles nobody else has in stock. We have one of the best selections of sealed or mint James Brown LPs anywhere on the planet right now and in all another 2,000 titles from the latest trip still need to be uploaded.
