Jimmy Eat World’s “Clarity”
So…we’re not beneath stealing other blog entries and posting them on our blog. Hey, at least we credit the origin of said blog entry when we do – this one came from allmusic.com’s blog, who in turn lifted it from buzzgrinder.com…
“Jimmy Eat World will celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Clarity, a landmark album of late-’90s emo, by playing the record in its entirety during a brief tour. The 10-date, cross-country jaunt will take Jimmy Eat World from New York City to Tempe, AZ, just a stone’s throw away from the musicians’ hometown of Mesa.”
Not that we’re in the habit of announcing tour dates now. Actually, this is brought to you out of pure self-interest, as we may be the only place on the planet right now that you can buy the original sealed (and pristine) vinyl issue of this release. Yes, it’s $200. But it’s made of gold. No, wait, this just in – it’s made of, ummm, black vinyl. But it’s almost as rare as a copy made of gold. That is, if such a copy were to exist.
