Howdy
Wow…where did Monday and Tuesday (and half of Wednesday) go. Actually, we do know where a good chunk of it went – pulling orders in wake of the email blast we sent late last week. So, thanks a whole big bunch for keeping us busy! As I mentioned last week, that was the first email we have sent in quite a while and our hopes are that it won’t be another six months before you see another one.
No, that does not mean we’re now going to abuse our unspoken bond to, well, not abuse you. You will never see more than one email a month and I’m a bit suspect you’ll see ‘em with that kind of frequency. However, between those random missives and our sporadic-though-slightly-more-regular blog posts, we continue to feed into in the general haphazardness of the universe.
There has been one other change since I last typed – we have a new employee. Welcome John Turton. No, not *that* John Turton. But his son, John Turton. So for the record, I am completely surrounded by Turtons, including Miles Turton, the family Skipper Kee. Not that I’m complaining. Not yet anyway.
On a completely unrelated note, on my drive into work this morning, I found myself behind a GMC SUV-y type of thing with a license plate that read ZPLNFAN. Have to say, even as a skeptic of personalized plates, I actually gave into a smile on that one. However, the driver of said vehicle was truly hell on wheels. She had to be doing at least 90 mph, and you’d be lucky to wedge a LP between the front of her vehicle and any car that happened to find itself in front of her. So, if you’re ever in the greater Sacramento area, keep your eyes open for ZPLNFAN.
