Howdy there…Long time, no blog. But hey, isn’t that what you’ve come to expect from us (as sad as that statement inevitably is). Anyhoo, had something cross our radar lately that we thought your inner gearhead might enjoy – there is a company in Oakland, CA called Audiowood (actually, more like a guy, I believe) that is hand crafting these beautiful burlwood turntables. Oh, and make sure to read the “About” page. The guy has got a cool little business bubbling over there, with the ultimate goal to provide customers with quality, reasonably priced gear. And in this new era of, ummm, non-excess, quite refreshing.
