45rpm Arrivals
Please take note that we received the two newest Music Matters titles today – Johnny Coles’ “Little Johnny C” and Freddie Hubbard’s “Here To Stay.” Both in non-numbered editions. We also received what might very well be the most anticpated vinyl release of the year – Jennifer Warnes’ classic homage to Leonard Cohen, ”Famous Blue Raincoat.”
Two LP’s cut at 45rpm, pressed on virtuous virgin vinyl and including five bonus tracks – four taken from Shout Factory’s 2007 CD issue and an exclusive analog demo of “A Singer Must Die.” Also includes production notes, exclusive photos and a lock of Jennifer’s hair, all housed in a beautiful numbered box. Okay, we made up the lock of hair thing. But everything else you could want is here. Twenty years in the making!
Please know this release is hyper-limited – 6000 for the world. So, get it now or pay handsomely later. And probably not all that much later.
